Vice President - Operations

The Vice President, Operations will support Paceline’s leadership team to manage and enhance business operations with a focus on human resources, real estate, and office administration.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee new hire onboarding and employee exit processes
    • Onboard new employees (and exit departing employees) to all HR related systems and relevant data subscriptions
  • Work with 3rd party IT provider to deploy and track IT access, services, and equipment
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party providers of payroll, benefits and IT services
    • Track contracts, budget and services
  • Run biweekly, monthly and special payroll
  • Recommend services and administer company benefits programs
  • Manage 3rd party IT and subscription services
    • Maintain tracker of IT equipment
  • Oversee network folder access
  • Negotiate and track subscription services contracts / employee access
  • Facilitate updates to Paceline website and social media
  • Manage company culture initiatives
    • Work with leadership to establish culture program
  • Oversee event planning and manage budgets
  • Support office / real estate planning and management
    • Liaise with landlord and building service vendors
  • Manage budgets / approvals for office services
  • Support other office related initiatives as needed
    • Coordinate administrative team assignments
  • Facilitate recruiting processes in partnership with hiring managers
  • Review and approve expenses
  • Support vendor verification and accounts payable processes

Preferred Experience:

  • 3-5-year progressive professional experience in human resource operations or office management roles
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Extraordinary focus on details, accuracy, and quality
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-moving entrepreneurial team environment
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
